In this novel by Kevin J. Anderson, the Hutts are applying for membership. Wedge defeats Ackbar in war games designed to impress the Hutts while Han and Leia are visiting. Qwi is on Wedge's ship as a cadet. Turns out the Hutts are building a Death Star, and Wedge's battle group, which stayed in the area as long as Leia was on the Hutt homeworld, has to engage it. They win... this makes it Wedge 4, Death Stars 0, by the way.
